Obiano Rewards Loyalty; Gifts Traditional Rulers Brand New Innoson IVM SUV (Ikenga)

The Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano has gifted Anambra Traditional rulers with a Brand New IVM Ikenga SUV, as an appreciation for being loyal to him and standing by his side.

The presentation ceremony held today, September 4th, 2020 at Ekwueme Square Awka, Anambra State and was attended by many guests who were awed and chanted happily as the cars majestically drove into the square.

About 126 (One hundred and twenty-six cars) IVM Ikenga cars were presented in the presence of distinguished guests and some of the traditional rulers including the Speaker of the state Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor, Traditional Rulers’ Council led by its Chairman, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, Igwe K.O.N Orizu III, former Governors Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Dame Virgy Etiaba, Senator Victor Umeh, National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, Former CBN Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, members of the state executive council, civil servants, among others.

Recall that a few weeks ago, in what seemed like a fiasco between the state governor and an illustrious son of the soil, Chief Engr Arthur Eze, the Anambra state traditional rulers camp was divided into two; one group standing with the governor and the other with the billionaire oil magnate. It was also gathered that after the suspension of the 12 traditional rulers who stood with Arthur Eze by Willie Obiano, the Ukpo born philanthropist gifted them a brand new Lexus SUV each as compensation.

It is not therefore a surprise today as the state governor gifted those in his camp SUVs so as to seemingly balance the gap.

The Innoson IVM Ikenga is the African Strength of Movement. With a 7 Seater capacity, Ikenga comes in two variants; Automatic and Manual and with a lot more user-friendly features, safety and practicality compared to older versions of others IVM Cars. It has a spacious interior and aerodynamic curves that match the flow of the road. IVM Ikenga also has a 1.8l Engine and Turbo Charger for its manual transmission, and automatic transmission.

Innoson Vehicles are assembled in Nnewi, Anambra state, and owned by Chief Innocent Chukwuma, a distinguished son of the soil.
